1. INTRODUCTION
- 1.1 The Platform: Tapper Tea (OPC) Private Limited (“Company”, “We”, “Us”) operates this marketplace to facilitate the sale of tea, coffee, and related accessories by independent third-party sellers (“Sellers”) to you (“Buyer”).
- 1.2 Intermediary Status: You acknowledge that Tapper Tea is an intermediary. We are not the manufacturer of the products. The contract of sale is strictly between You and the Seller. We facilitate the transaction, payment, and delivery (only if seller opt it from us).
2. ELIGIBILITY & ACCOUNT
- 2.1 Age: You must be at least 18 years old to use this Platform. If you are a minor, you must use the site under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
- 2.2 Account Security:Â You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
- 2.3 Information Accuracy:Â You agree to provide true, accurate, and current information (Address, Phone Number) for order delivery. Tapper Tea is not responsible for non-delivery due to wrong addresses.
3. PRODUCT & PRICING
- 3.1 Pricing:Â All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of GST.
- 3.2 Best Effort:Â While we ensure product descriptions are accurate, we do not warrant that the content (images, taste notes) is error-free. The appearance of the actual product may vary slightly from the image.
- 3.3 Availability:Â All orders are subject to product availability with the Seller. If a Seller cancels your order due to stock issues, we will refund the full amount.
4. ORDERING & PAYMENTS
- 4.1 Order Acceptance:Â Your receipt of an order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order. We reserve the right to accept or decline your order at any time until dispatch.
- 4.2 Payment Methods: We accept UPI, Credit/Debit Cards, and Net Banking via our authorized payment gateway (Razorpay Payments Private Limited (RBI – authorised Payment Aggregator)).
- 4.3 Cancellation by Buyer: You may cancel your order before it is marked as “Shipped” by the Seller. Once shipped, the order cannot be cancelled.
- 4.4 Cancellation by Us:Â We may cancel orders due to pricing errors, non-availability, or suspicious activity.
5. SHIPPING & DELIVERY
- 5.1 Handling:Â Shipping and delivery is solely handled by the seller. Tapper Tea is not responsible for choice of courier service chosen by the seller.
- 5.2 Timeline: Delivery times (e.g., “Standard Delivery”) are estimates provided by courier partners. Tapper Tea is not liable for delays caused by weather, strikes, or courier issues.
- 5.3 Inspection: You are advised to inspect the package upon delivery. If the outer box is heavily damaged or tampered with, do not accept it and contact us immediately.
6. RETURNS & REFUNDS (CRITICAL FOR FOOD)
- 6.1 Perishable Goods: Due to hygiene and safety reasons, Tea and Coffee products are Non-Returnable once opened or delivered safely.
- 6.2 Eligible Returns: You may request a Return/Refund only in the following cases:
- Expired product delivered.
- Wrong item delivered (e.g., ordered Green Tea, got Coffee).
- Physical damage to the product container/seal during transit.
- 6.3 Refund Process: To raise a claim, you can do it via our platform system or you can email info@tappertea.com with photos of the damaged product within 48 hours of delivery. Refunds will be processed to the original payment source within 5-7 working days.
7. USER CONTENT & REVIEWS
- 7.1 Reviews:Â You may post reviews of products. You agree not to post content that is defamatory, obscene, or illegal. We reserve the right to remove any review that violates these terms.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tapper Tea shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of health or profits) arising from the use of products sold on the Platform. The Seller is solely responsible for product safety and FSSAI compliance.

10. GOVERNING LAW
- These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra.
